  • The North End Nightmare 5K, which was actually run as a two mile race due to COVID-19, took place in Superior on Saturday, Oct. 24. The top overall finisher was Maverick Koecher, 17, of Kerrick, Minn. The top female finisher was Rochelle Wirth, 58, of Duluth. Wirth finished sixth overall.
