KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UW-Superior men’s soccer team remained No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches North Regional rankings, released by the organization on Monday, September 15th.
UWS improved to 4-1-0 on the season with a 4-1 win over Hamline in its home opener on September 13th.
Loras at 6-0-1 took over the top spot in the rankings after previous No. 1 Augsburg went 1-1-0 last week.
The Aggies topped Minnesota Morris, 1-0, on Wednesday before falling, 2-1, to Luther Saturday, plummeting to No. 3. The Norse climbed to No. 2 in the rankings.
Wartburg (3-0-1) remained fifth while UW-Whitewater rose to sixth.
Undefeated Central (7-0-0) made its first appearance of the season in the poll at No. 7. Gustavus Adolphus (4-1-0) dropped to eighth as St. Norbert (3-1-0) climbed to No. 9. Knox made its debut in the rankings at No. 10 and is 4-2-0 on the season.
The Yellowjackets host St. Norbert Saturday, September 21st at 2 p.m., at NBC Spartan Sports Complex.
