Superior Adventures went bouldering at Banning State Park Saturday. The program, which is a part of the UWS Campus Recreation Department provides programs such as rock climbing, canoeing, hiking and many other outdoor activities to students and community members. Five students in total participated in the program.

“I went on a hiking trip once in Gooseberry Falls through the program; I think it was in April or May”, Fiorella Luna said. “I liked going out and doing some rock climbing; I’ve never done that before, so I was pretty excited about it.”

According to Nathan Field, Supervisor of Superior Adventures, this time, the cost was $15 for students and $20 for community members. Field that that they want to keep the program affordable to students so many can attend the opportunities presented by the program. “The trip went well, and it was beautiful weather out there. Everything went great!” he said.

“The program of Superior Adventures was good,” says Luna. “They always have what is necessary to do the activities, and they are always energetic and cheerful. That is contagious.”
