Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle at the University of Wisconsin-Superior’s Free Store. The free store is open to all students Mon through Fri from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Old Main 131. The free store first opened in 2019, managed by the UW-Superior Sustainability Club.

“The free store’s main purpose is to lessen our impact on the environment by giving secondhand items new purpose and home. Hopefully, through the free store, we reduce the number of items that we need to buy or dispose of,” said Mikaela Matias the president of the Sustainability club “We acknowledge that there may be students who are struggling financially and through the free store we hope to provide access to essential items that they want or need without them having to pay for it.”
