Jun 4th A female resident of Hawkes Hall reported that someone had apparently entered her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in lot #6 and removed approximately $1.00 in change from her center console.
Jun 6th MWC staff discovered that someone had punctured ten exercise balls in the dance studio sometime in the previous two weeks. Public Safety was aware that the Superior Police Dept. had arrested an individual for a similar incident at the high school on May 24th. Officer Bodin reviewed MWC video from that date and found that a male on a bicycle was inside the building shortly before 2:00am, about an hour before the arrest was made at the high school. No sign of forced entry had been found and it was unknown he got in. Our follow up investigation suggested the same individual was involved. He was interviewed and he confessed to entering the MWC through an unlocked door and damaging the balls. The reports were referred to the District Attorney and criminal charges of trespassing and criminal damage to property are pending.
