There’s harmful diction, and then there’s the normalization of said diction.

I want to respect Chbosky’s act of risk-taking here. It’s no small attempt to craft a novel this large in scope.

It’s almost surreal to see a movie that fits all the clichés of a normal music biopic without even focusing on the musician.
