The UW-Superior men’s and women’s soccer teams earned UMAC titles after defeating Bethany Lutheran in the UMAC Championship game.

Starting off with the men’s team, they earned their eight consecutive UMAC title after taking down Bethany Lutheran 6-2.

Leading the way in goals for the Yellowjackets was Junior Forward, Jake Kidd who recorded two goals on the night. Phillip Eriksen, Isaac Becket, Freddy Watson, and Josh Bellamay also recorded a goal in the Yellowjackets win over the Vikings.

UWS will improve to 17-3-2 overall and end the season with a perfect 14-0 recorded in conference play.

The Yellowjackets have earned a spot in the NCAA tournament where they will face North Park. For the women’s, they shutout Bethany Lutheran 4-0, to earn their fourth consecutive UMAC Championship.

The Yellowjackets were led by Kamryn Hill, who scored two goals in the contest. Tori Vosburg and Niya Wilson were the other Yellowjackets who recorded a goal in the match.

UWS improves to 15-7 on the year and 11-1 in conference play. The Jackets earned a spot in the NCAA tournament and face Carleton College.
