As another semester ends, this school has to say goodbye to wonderful students. Eligible seniors to graduate this spring have already been notified through their UWS email for information about claiming their tickets. Tickets needed to be claimed by Mar. 29, the same day as any RSVP’s the event on May 18.
“It’s been a long haul, it’s a lot of work to get there, but just remembering that you’re so close. There is just a few weeks left and they’ve got this and just being able to celebrate their accomplishments. It’s really great we have this activity at the end of the semester,” said Jen Bird, the assistant dean of students. Bird was a UWS graduate and looks forward for all graduates eyeing up their next steps.

Seniors are encouraged to attend the Grad Fairs in the YU Atrium on April 8 & 9, at 11 a.m. At the event, you can pick up tickets, honor cords, confirm your address to receive your diploma, converse with alumni from UWS, and connect with the LINK Center about post-graduation, talking about what’s next. If you’re unable to attend, you’re able to pick up your tickets in the Registrars’ office in Old Main 139.
UWS’ graduation ceremony is taking place May 18 at 2 p.m. Doors at Wessman Arena will open at noon and students should be checked in and lined up by 1:30 p.m. Professional photography will be present at the graduation.
