Freshman students mill about outside of Erlanson hall, groups were staggered as they entered buildings on campus with only one guided group in most buildings at the same time.
Students on their tour of campus depart from Swenson Hall and trek across the quad.
A healthy sized crowd spread out over the main quad to watch the Minnesota based GB Leighton group rock out as the sun began to set.
To close the day of activities for the “Day of Welcome” the rock group GB Leighton performed outside of the Yellow Jacket Union. Lead singer Brian Leighton (center), guitarist Patrick Tanner (left), drummer Ryan Inselman (not pictured) and bassist Dave Crowell put on a performance that featured covers of popular classic rock songs.
